Flashback is a new system aimed at reducing the number of lost flash drives. Although Flashback is now a finished product, we welcome your feedback on any bug, faults or ideas you have so we can improve it for future versions, you can send us your feedback by using the contact us page. We may also update Flashback from time to time to make sure it is always at its very best - this is handled by the built in auto updater and takes seconds. Flashback is and will always be free, because we believe that the best things in life are free.
How does it work and what does it do?
Flashback is installed on your flash drive (it's a very small program and won't take up any noticeable space), every time you open your flash drive it checks to see if it is 'lost'. If it is lost the system will display your name and a return address. You can mark a drive as lost by visiting the website and clicking "mark as lost" I should stress that it does not disable the drive and that it relies on the finder of the drive being trustworthy.
